Full-Time PC Technician
Job Overview
The successful candidate will interact directly with customers to complete hardware and software upgrades and virus/malware removals, up to and including, complete PC rebuilds for business and personal PCs. The successful candidate will also provide software and end user support both onsite and remotely. This position requires someone who is highly motivated, a self-starter and a very good communicator. Local travel to customer sites is required.
Job Responsibilities
- Virus/Malware removal from customer PCs.
- Hardware and software upgrades and repair to customer PCs.
- Customer service and a small amount of retail sales.
- Provide help desk support onsite and remotely.
- Networking of home PCs and some Servers.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Associates degree or equivalent experience required.
- Solid working knowledge of Windows operating systems (XP, 7, Server 200X).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Customer service experience is required.
- A+ or MCP certification is a plus.
- Good communication skills.
- Some lifting required.
Compensation
